.
.
Beast, demon, girl. You are not an animal, unless the mountains are like animals. Unless the gods walk on all fours and fuck like beasts. Because when we fuck there is nothing human in us left. Your musk, your perfume, your animal instinct fills my blood. Blue fox demon, I’ll wait for you at our own Reichenbach falls. Please do not keep me hanging.

.
Eu não concordo que este é nada mais que um truque da natureza, que nos impele a ter nossa espécie preservada. No chão do banheiro, nossas roupas. No chuveiro, nossas corpos suados. No ar, sussurros e gemidos. Isto é como os deuses falar. O orgasmo que nos permite ver seus rostos. Um pouco a língua, delírio e um quente do noite. Esta mais do que simples biologia.
.
I do not agree that this is nothing more than some trick of nature that forces us to have our species preserved. On the bathroom floor, our clothes. In the shower, our sweaty bodies. In the air, whispers and moans. This is how the gods speak. The orgasm that allows us to see their faces. A little tongue, delirium and one hot night. This more than just mere biology.

I.
A grave lost at dusk.
She speaks to her dead lover
in her lover’s tongue.

II.
Two fingers inside.
What do I taste like? Bleed me.
Fuck me. Make me burn.

III.
I’m fire: fire’s climax.
I burn, I die, I embrace
all our little deaths.

I’ve always had a soft spot for the children of rock-a-billie queens out to rule the world.

armenian graveyard

If you have been following the news in Turkey right now you might know that there is civil unrest in the streets, all originating from the government’s attempt to turn one of the last green spaces in downtown Istanbul into a shopping mall (and yes, that is Tilda Swinton in the top photo).

What the media hasn’t pointed out is that the said disputed park actually has a long and controversial history. Armenian protestors at Gezi park have been carrying signs that read in Turkish, Armenian and English: You captured our graveyard, but you can’t capture our park!

This is a reference to the Pangaltı Armenian graveyard that was destroyed in the 1930s to make way for the current park and surrounding hotels. Because everywhere you scratch in Turkey blood boils to the surface.

A friend sent me this XKCD comic (the bottom panel) and it took me forever to realize the Abbott and Costello reference. Hope you enjoy. Cheers!
