afterlife, dark science, decay, robot, rust, sonnet

Metal decays. Metal decays until
it is gone. A fine mist of rust settles
over the day. Last nightfall I was ill.
I groaned when I moved. My cogs and cables
complained. Afterlife: nothing much happens.
Here at the quiet limit of the word
argon rises, five-folded mists. Humans
deeply love magic, but hate the wizard.
As if dark science leads to a hereafter
other than what we’ve made it. Afterlife:
nothing much happens. It is my nature
to rust. Decay cuts through me like a knife.
Death has just only one dream: to conspire
to make us all into dust flakes on fire.

cunnilingus, dark science, flavor of love, memory, orgasmo divino, sonnet, the dead

There are two scars on the dead woman’s breasts
but when I run my finger over them
she mews, shivers and turns away. Our chests
soon touch and she pushes her need and phlegm,
a stub of a blue tongue, into my mouth.
Love should come with no strings or not at all.
When I move between her thighs, “go down south,
Moses,”
I can taste on her clit the gall
of the methanol used in embalming.
There is a science to all this, I know.
A dark science. I treasure that second
when she climaxed, laughing and crying,
when the dead discovered lust once more
and our understanding of love deepened.

blood feud

I tell you this, revenge is not a sin.
Yes, the craven are always saying we
should turn the other cheek. But, then again,
they are the ones who caused more misery
in their short lives than all the rest of us.
You hurt me, then you left; as if distance
would then protect you. Child, from my malice
there is no escape. All this dark science
at my disposal shall hunt you down, blood
feud. Ten thousand dollars and the pinkie
of your left hand will placate my hatred.
Something to tell your wretched progeny;
that all karmic debts call for sacrifice;
that for grace your finger was a small price.
