Whether or not Guinevere from the legends of King Arthur painted herself in blue ink just before running screaming into battle is not important. It just looked brilliant when I watched it, so I am sharing it with you. It’s never good to upset the Picts.
heehee, yes, I agree! Every time I read a book or see a movie with a strong and brave female character I am very happy. Even if the facts aren’t 100% accurate it is still important to present strong and brave role models for girls (and boys) to show them that they can do anything they want and that a lot of our ideas of gender stereotypes (men hunt, women stay at home, as example) aren’t really true.
Love the expressions of keira Knightly in the first one. Very matter-of-fact type ! Underestimate a woman and that is what one will get 🙂
